We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Part-Time Business Intelligence Engineer to support our Customer Service Analytics team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will help transform complex data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making and operational performance.
This position is ideal for a professional who thrives in a flexible remote environment, enjoys solving business problems through data, and can independently manage reporting and analytics initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPI tracking solutions
Analyze business performance data and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
Support monthly business reviews and executive reporting processes
Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities through data analysis
Automate reporting workflows and improve reporting efficiency
Create clear and visually effective data presentations using BI tools
Collaborate with business leaders, analysts, and technical teams to support strategic initiatives
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across reporting systems
Document reporting processes, business logic, and analytics methodologies
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data analysis
Strong SQL and database experience with platforms such as Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, or similar technologies
Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools such as Tableau or equivalent BI platforms
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting executive reporting and operational analytics
Familiarity with data governance and reporting best practices
Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and leadership teams
Background in media, technology, entertainment, or subscription-based industries
Experience improving reporting automation and data accessibility
