Located in the heart of the mineable oil sands of Alberta, the Hammerstone Quarry is one of the largest limestone quarries in Western Canada. The Quarry provides a year-round source of quality limestone aggregates that are essential to the growth, operational sustainability and environmental performance of the Alberta oil sands industry.

is currently seeking a Crusher Operator that will be primarily responsible for working in a team environment where individual input is not just valued but expected. Qualifications
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a 5-year clean driver’s abstract
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to work both day and night shifts
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment Physical Demands Analysis (PDA) representative of the work required
Canadian Safety Training System (CSTS) certification is required
Additional safety training is considered an asset
Experience
Minimum of 3 years’ experience with aggregate crushing operations, including equipment adjustments and repairs
Experience operating some or all of the following equipment: skid steer, zoom boom, aerial lift, tele-stacker
Experience performing maintenance and servicing on equipment such as cone liners, jaw plates, screens, gearboxes, etc.
Mechanical aptitude or experience is considered an asset
General
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also working independently and self-directed as required
Compensation
Competitive hourly rate
Flights to and from a designated major center are provided (if required)
Travel from airport to onsite lodging and back (if required)
Lodging is provided on site (if required)
Schedule
12-hour shifts
20 days on / 10 days off
Day and night shifts
