Your Role as a Commercial Credit Analyst:
Analyze & Advise
Assess financials, trends, and credit risk
Evaluate repayment capacity and structure financing solutions
Build models and prepare credit recommendations
Manage Risk
Monitor portfolios for risk changes
Ensure compliance with policies and regulations
Mitigate risk to protect assets
Support Deals & Growth
Assist with new, renewal, and extension loans
Support deal structuring and negotiations
Partner with Relationship Managers to grow client relationships and revenue

Qualifications:
Experience in client-facing roles, with a strong focus on relationship building and customer satisfaction.
Previous Banking experience is an asset.
For Credit Qualifiable roles: must meet required credit qualifications, including relevant portfolio knowledge and skills per established standards.
Bachelor's degree required; preference for Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting. Equivalent experience or related disciplines considered.
Technical proficiency developed through education and/or professional experience.
Intermediate Proficiency:
Problem solving, collaboration, and attention to detail
Analytical thinking and credit risk assessment
Loan structuring, portfolio management, and regulatory compliance
Banking operations and Microsoft Office
Advanced Proficiency:
Data analysis tools

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.
BMO Financial Group's total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
