Requirements: Valid Security Guard License and First Aid/CPR certificate Proven experience as a security supervisor for at least 5 years Minimum of 6+ years of Security experience, preferably in a Commercial Tower/Gov't Environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with a diverse range of individuals. Excellent computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new software and systems. Must be physically fit and able to stand, sit or walk for extended periods Ability to handle multiple situations and use sound judgment to handle emergencies Must be knowledgeable on various systems, including but not limited to CCTV, various types, elevators, mechanical alarms, intercom systems, fire and life safety systems, and control room systems Must be able to provide coaching, training, and update site Manager on new trainees progress Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations Ability to write and compile reports on computer software in a timely manner Key Responsibilities: Supervise and lead a team of security guards, ensuring their compliance with company policies and procedures. Manage the day-to-day operations of the site, including access control and visitor management, to maintain a secure environment. Conduct regular inspections to ensure all security measures are in place and report any breaches or concerns to the management. Monitor CCTV systems and respond to any security incidents or emergencies promptly and appropriately. Collaborate with building management, tenants, and law enforcement as needed. Ability to commute to Downtown Toronto core Provide training and guidance to security personnel, fostering a culture of excellence and professionalism. Stay updated on security industry trends and best practices, implementing necessary changes to enhance security protocols.
