Job DescriptionJob Description We are seeking a Coordinator, Digital Marketing with a strong focus on email marketing and automation to enhance fan engagement, boost retention, and drive revenue. In this role, you will lead the development of personalized email and SMS campaigns, build automated customer journeys, and optimize our digital marketing efforts. From strategy to execution, you will leverage insights for targeted messaging, implement data-driven marketing strategies, and refine campaign performance through A/B testing and analytics. Responsibilities: Email Marketing & Automation: • Develop, implement, and optimize dynamic, personalized marketing journeys using Salesforce Marketing Cloud. • Manage and execute promotional email and SMS campaigns across all business units. • Strategically grow email KPIs, including subscriber growth, open rates, click-through rates, and conversions. • Leverage CRM data for targeted messaging and customer segmentation. • Optimize campaigns using A/B and multivariate testing frameworks. • Monitor email-driven revenue and ensure compliance with CASL, CAN-SPAM, and GDPR. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive engagement and retention. • Stay ahead of industry trends, ensuring best practices in email marketing and automation. Website & Digital Project Management: • Work closely with the Director, Digital Manager to develop and execute digital initiatives aligned with marketing goals. • Manage digital requests and deliverables across departments. • Update website content, creative assets, and banners via CMS. • Create and manage web pages to drive revenue and fan engagement. • Collaborate with Major League Soccer to execute league-wide digital initiatives. Education & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. • 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing and email marketing/automation. • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar platforms like Pardot, Marketo, HubSpot). • Strong knowledge of email marketing best practices, customer segmentation, and journey building. • Basic coding skills in HTML, CSS, AMPScript (a plus). • Strong analytical mindset with expertise in data-driven campaign optimization. • Excellent project management and organizational skills. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate complex concepts effectively.
