Job DescriptionJob Description Job Title: Cook / Kitchen Helper Location: Moncton, New Brunswick Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Job Overview We are currently hiring Cooks/Kitchen Helpers to join one of our clients in New Brunswick. In this role, you will assist with food preparation, basic cooking tasks, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting overall kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Food Preparation & Cooking Prepare and cook food items as per recipes and guidelines Assist with cutting, measuring, and preparing ingredients Help with preparing soups, sauces, grill items, and daily menu items Maintain portion control and food presentation standards Kitchen Support Assist with general kitchen duties including cleaning and organizing workstations Replenish supplies and ensure kitchen readiness for service Support team members across different kitchen stations Food Safety & Quality Follow all food safety and sanitation standards (HACCP) Ensure food is prepared and served at proper temperatures Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas at all times Requirements Valid Food Handler Certificate (mandatory) Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Ability to work independently and in a team Work Schedule Flexible shifts (morning, afternoon, evening as required) Weekends and overtime may be required Physical Requirements Ability to stand for long periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in hot/cold kitchen environments How to Apply Apply today with your resume to be considered!
