Salary Range: $35.67 - $43.27 per hour
Experience with PLC programming with Allen Bradley/Rockwell software- RS Logix 5000/Studio 5000 of assembly welding lines
Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens HMI programming.
Knowledge of resistance welding, electrical standards, and latest safety standards
Basis knowledge of robot programming and communication with PLC.
Observe standards set out by MDV
Ensure that job is completed on time and functioning safely.
Perform assigned tasks in a safe manner and know how to properly lock out all energy sources, including stored energy
Know what types of Personal Protective Equipment are required for the jobs in your area and always use them properly
Consult your Manager/supervisor if you are not 100% sure of how to perform tasks in a safe manner
Ensure that your work area is kept clean, tidy and organized at all times to prevent accidents and produce quality products
Other Tasks:
Continuously adhere to and apply the Magna Employee's Charter, the Magna Corporate Constitution, and the Magna Operational Principles in all aspects of position and interaction with others.
Effective use of MDV's Escalation Process.
Compliance to IATF customer requirements
Attends all scheduled meetings and training.
Understands and follows established rules, procedures and policies relating to position.
Ensure a safe working environment by observing safe work practices and by following all safety policies and procedures.

Education & Job Qualifications:
Obtain degree/diploma in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Controls
Minimum of two (2) years experience troubleshooting and programming programmable logic controller (PLCs), preferably in the Automotive environment (Industrial Automation and Robotic Material Handling & Welding)
Capable of reading and editing electrical, mechanical, and layout drawings
Experience with PLCs: Strong knowledge in programming & troubleshooting of Allen Bradley and/or Siemens PLC' required; as well as a solid understanding of common hardware
Experience with Robotics: Knowledge in programming and troubleshooting of Fanuc robots required
Experience with Industrial Networking: Ethernet, DeviceNet, ControlNet
Demonstrated knowledge of English, both oral and written
Demonstrated attention to detail, organizational and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Working knowledge of safety standards of equipment
Ability to work independently, without supervision
Ability to work to deadlines and support multiple demands
Ability to work in locations inside and outside of the MDV facility
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
Ability to uphold confidentiality
Ability to work overtime to meet customer needs
