Overview Join Hitachi Energy as a Technical Sales Advisor and become a key link between our sales teams, field service experts, and valued customers. In this role, you’ll travel across Quebec to meet clients, inspect electrical installations—primarily transformers—and understand their operational needs. You’ll collaborate with sales and engineering teams to develop tailored proposals, identify new opportunities, and deliver solutions that balance technical excellence with commercial value. How You’ll Make an Impact Act as a trusted intermediary between clients, sales, field teams, and engineering. Travel across Quebec (20–30%) to meet clients and assess equipment. Prepare business proposals and quotes within technical, budgetary, and safety limits. Support project management: define scope, monitor budgets, and coordinate resources. Interpret technical drawings and diagrams to recommend optimal solutions. Write detailed visit reports and ensure follow‑up until contract completion. Identify new business opportunities for transformer services. Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Your Background Minimum 5 years of field experience in transformer maintenance and repair. Strong knowledge of assembly, repair, and rehabilitation of transformers. Skilled in electrical testing, troubleshooting, and digital monitoring systems. Ability to read and interpret single‑line diagrams (SLD). Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with digital platforms (e.g., Salesforce). Excellent communication skills in French and English for reports and proposals.
