Job DescriptionJob Description Job description: Position – Cement Finisher (1 vacancy) Nes Crete Canada Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cement Finisher to join our Stratford construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finishing concrete surfaces, ensuring smooth and durable results across various projects. Job Responsibilities and Duties include : The position will include working with materials such as forming and concrete materials with duties that include: · Ensure concrete formwork is secure and proper prior to concrete placement · Vibrate concrete to specifications · Position the concrete to the desired grade and shape · Fill in voids and finish the concrete surface with hand tools · Operate concrete finishing and cutting machines · Apply concrete surface hardeners and curing compounds · Detailed installation of concrete reinforcing · Forming and installation of fixtures · Repair damaged concrete sections · Set up of concrete machine line and grade · Read and follow drawings and specifications Job Skills Required : · 3 years of experience in rebar installation, concrete forming, and finishing concrete · At least 3 years of experience in concrete finishing techniques, as well as proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and reading drawings Hours : 40 hours per week + overtime Wage : $32.00 - $40.00 per hour (based on experience in industry) Overtime : Paid at time and one half after 44 hours per week, Paid biweekly Job location : 5140 Line 34, RR #5, Stratford, Ontario Canada and various client sites throughout Canada Language of Work : English Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities Physically demanding Handling heavy loads Bending, crouching, kneeling Attention to detail Standing for extended periods Benefits Other benefits Learning/training paid by employer Team building opportunities Transportation provided by employer Parking available Candidates may apply via email at nescrete@hotmail.com .
