Job Description Job Summary The Compliance Specialist provides key support to agency management. Under the supervision of the Director of Contracts and Compliance, the Compliance Specialist will lead the agency's in contract compliance efforts. Essential Duties & Responsibilities The Compliance Specialist’s key areas of responsibility and duties include: Review contracts to stay informed of and enforce all agency and funder rules and guidelines. Acquire broad knowledge of assigned program contracts and grants and their requirements through research and continuous engagement with programs. Conduct quarterly interview review process to ensure that SJC client files are accurate and meet funder requirements. Review program client records to ensure eligibility requirements are met and document deficiencies found during internal reviews. Ensure all SJC client files are audit-ready for all external reviews. Support programs prior to funder audits ensuring file rooms are secure and compliant. Coaching and clarifying contract processes, conditions and details with management, program managers, and directors. Provide training for case management staff regarding compliance requirements and procedures as needed. Create and maintain training materials, support documents, and job guides as needed. Provide additional support to programs to ensure appropriate corrections are made and provide related training when needed. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
