Job Title: Community Support Worker Location: Fort McMurray and surrounding rural communities About the Role Revolve Staffing is seeking compassionate and reliable Community Support Workers to deliver in-person supports. This role focuses on supporting adults living in their homes to participate in meaningful community activities, build social connections, and reduce isolation. Services are individualized and guided by each participant’s goals and preferences. Key Responsibilities • Support individuals to participate in community-based activities (e.g., recreation, social outings, cultural or faith-based events, shopping, volunteer activities) • Provide companionship and social support during community access activities • Assist with mobility and safe participation in outings as required • Follow Individual Support Plans (ISPs) developed by the program team • Document activities, participant engagement, and outcomes accurately • Communicate effectively with program coordinators, facility staff, and families • Ensure participant safety, dignity, and respect at all times • Report incidents, changes in participant condition, or concerns promptly Qualifications & Requirements • Diploma or certificate in a related field (e.g., Health Care Aide, Community Support Worker, Social Services) OR equivalent experience • Minimum 1 year experience supporting adults with disabilities, seniors, or individuals in continuing care settings • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to work independently and follow care plans • Valid Criminal Record Check (with Vulnerable Sector Check) • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (preferred) • First Aid/CPR certification Key Competencies • Person-centred approach to care • Empathy, patience, and professionalism • Reliability and punctuality • Cultural sensitivity and inclusiveness • Strong observation and reporting skills Work Environment • Primarily community-based (in-person support) • Work includes evenings and weekends based on participant needs • Travel within the service area may be required Compensation • Competitive hourly rate (based on experience) • Mileage reimbursement (where applicable) • Flexible scheduling • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities
