Posting # 12/26 Permanent, Full-Time Position Hours of Work: 33.75 hours per week. Location: Fort Frances or Atikokan, Ontario (may include some travel). Salary: $57,704 - $85,745 annually (Salary placement is dependent on education and years of experience) Closing Date: May 28, 2026 This posting is for a new position. Position Summary: The Community Integration Worker is responsible for providing services to school-aged children challenged by a developmental and/or intellectual disability, in order to facilitate their integration into the community. Primary responsibilities include: assessment, individual program and family support planning and intervention. Knowledge and Skills Required: Must be familiar with and provide services in compliance with prescribed agency, ministry and legal standards. Excellent documentation skills that meet compliance with prescribed agency, ministry, and legal standards. Must have excellent time management skills to meet the demands of a heavy case load and reporting deadlines with accuracy and professionalism. Experience and knowledge of assessments of children. Able to design, implement and evaluate Family Support Plans. Knowledge of child development. Skill and ability to engage therapeutically with all clients. Must be able to work in a team setting and independently.. Must have thorough knowledge of relevant legislation, agency policies and procedures. Qualifications: Post-secondary degree in a course of study related to Developmental Services such as Education, Psychology, Social Worker, Occupational/Physiotherapy, or nursing. Two to three years experience in working with children with a developmental/intellectual disability. Applicants with similar academic qualifications and related experience may be considered. Required: Must possess a valid Class G Ontario Driver's Licence and have access to a reliable vehicle with OPCF6A Insurance endorsement and minimum of $1000 000.00 Liability. Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector check, Internal Records Check and Driver’s Abstract.
