We support clients across homes, schools, longterm care facilities, and community settings throughout the Greater Toronto Area. We are intentional about who we partner with. Our Communicative Disorders Assistants value independence, flexibility, and highquality adult rehabilitation, while still having access to strong clinical and administrative support. Youll practice under the umbrella of a wellestablished, accredited organization, while maintaining autonomy in your daytoday communitybased work. Caseload Overview We are currently recruiting for two Communicative Disorders Assistants to support a paediatric community caseload funded through Children's Treatment Network. Services are delivered in publicly funded schools. What Youll Be Doing Supporting children with challenges in speech sound production, fluency, and interactive communication Actively engaging children and caregivers to address communication goals Providing fun intervention and innovative therapy activities and games to target speech goals based on the childs interests and abilities Using child-centered fun online therapy materials for therapy and home programming activities Actively engaging in child/family teaching and collaborating with family and childs team Providing evidence-based therapy intervention, tracking progress Supporting the recommendations made by supervising SLP regarding speech and language programming, accommodations, resources, and modifications for children and their families Qualifications Communicative Disorders Assistant Certificate or Degree in Speech Language Pathology Demonstrated experience in working with children of all ages Ability to build strong relationships with families and provide support, feedback, and coaching Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication (both written and verbal) skills Experience providing therapy in person and virtually Have access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license Proof of professional liability insurance Completion of a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check Who This Role Is WellSuited For This role is ideal for Communicative Disorders Assistants who: Want flexible, referralbased work alongside other professional commitments Value clinical autonomy while still appreciating access to mentorship and support Enjoy community practice and functional, meaningful rehabilitation Want flexibility thats real not just promised Use of AI in Recruitment Please note that AIassisted tools may be used to support consistency and efficiency in parts of the recruitment process.
