Key Responsibilities As an Insurance Broker, you will: Generate new business through networking, referrals, prospecting, and outbound sales initiatives Assess client risks and recommend coverage solutions tailored to individual and business needs Stay up to date on insurance products, underwriting guidelines, market changes, and regulatory updates Prepare accurate quotes and bind coverage upon client approval Manage applications, renewals, endorsements, and documentation within the broker management system Maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional service and ongoing support Complete required training and RIBO continuing education Uphold RIBO standards for compliance, confidentiality, and ethical practices Qualifications To succeed in this role, you must have: Minimum 1 year of insurance sales experience Experience with Personal Lines and/or Commercial Lines Valid RIBO License Strong working knowledge of Applied Rating Services, PowerBroker, and insurer portals Basic Microsoft Office skills A positive, goal‑oriented mindset and strong client‑service orientation The drive and discipline needed to build and grow your own book of business Compensation & Benefits This is a commission-only role designed to reward top performers with uncapped earning potential.
