Responsibilities: Greeting and guiding visitors as a unit receptionist Assist with direct/indirect patient care under supervision of licensed nurse Clinical knowledge to perform general interventions for the patient whether the need is taking pulse, helping with grooming, getting a lunch tray, or acting quickly in an emergency Responsible for ensuring proper assimilation of information between hospital personnel, nursing staff and others Assists with data entry on patient information into Cerner Database Perform varied daily job tasks based on the patient load and physician orders coming into our unit. Maintains unit supplies inventory and assist with stocking linens, IV trays and other unit supplies.
