Responsibilities Preparing students for the CNA certification exam. Conducting classroom and clinical training sessions. Providing instruction on topics such as patient care, safety, ethics, and medical terminology. Qualifications Active RN License: You must hold an active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona or a compact state. Nursing Experience: Typically, at least 2 years of nursing experience is required. Long-Term Care Experience: Of those 2 years, at least one year should involve working in a long-term care facility, such as a nursing home, or providing care for the elderly or disabled.
