Our client is a leading professional services organization that supports major public and private sector clients in advancing their climate strategy, greenhouse gas (GHG) management, and sustainability reporting capabilities. They are seeking an experienced Climate Change Consultant to join their team on a 6âmonth contract, with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance. This role is ideal for professionals who have handsâon experience with climate change initiatives, GHG quantification, and environmental data analysis, and who want to contribute to impactful climateârelated advisory work.
The successful candidate will support climateâfocused projects, including emissions measurement, climate risk assessments, and sustainability reporting activities. This position requires strong analytical skills, familiarity with climate frameworks, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Candidates will work in a structured consulting environment where accuracy, clarity, and technical rigor are essential.
What You’ll Do
Support climate change and GHGârelated advisory projects
Conduct greenhouse gas quantification, analysis, and reporting
Assist in developing climate strategies, mitigation plans, and emissions reduction pathways
Contribute to sustainability and ESG reporting activities as needed
Analyze environmental data and prepare supporting documentation
Research climateârelated regulations, frameworks, and emerging trends
Collaborate with internal teams to gather data and validate assumptions
Support clientâfacing deliverables, presentations, and technical reports
Qualifications
Experience in climate change analysis or climateârelated consulting (required)
Handsâon experience with greenhouse gas measurement or reporting (required)
Knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks (nice to have)
Familiarity with ESG criteria and related disclosure standards (nice to have)
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
Ability to work independently in a structured project environment
Strong communication and documentation abilities
