About The Role
The Warehouse Clerk plays a key role in the warehouse department, supporting both administrative and operational functions. This role is responsible for managing product flow from inbound receipt through to outbound shipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at every stage.
The successful candidate will work both in the warehouse office and on the warehouse floor, supporting daily operations including receiving, labeling, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping. This role requires a combination of hands-on warehouse work and computer-based tasks, along with a strong ability to collaborate with drivers and internal/external customers.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
Load, unload, and move product and materials to and from trucks onto docks using various types of equipment
Operate equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, dollies, hand trucks, reach trucks, and turret trucks
Inspect equipment prior to shift and as required throughout the day
Verify accuracy of products being received and shipped
Receive, label, and stock products in designated rack locations
Pick, check, and pack orders for shipment
Break down skids and build smaller orders for delivery as needed
Complete shipping/receiving documentation and other paperwork accurately
Utilize computer systems for inventory tracking, product coding, and administrative tasks
Ensure product is handled safely and report incidents to a supervisor
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Work effectively both in the warehouse office and on the warehouse floor
Provide professional and approachable service while interacting with drivers and internal/external customers
Maintain current forklift operator certification
Strong computer skills, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
Willingness and ability to work both in an office setting and on the warehouse floor
Flexibility to adjust shift start/end times by 1–2 hours when required
Approachable, professional demeanor with strong communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Must have or be able to obtain required personal protective equipment, including safety shoes
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Valid forklift operator certification
Experience operating warehouse equipment safely and adhering to safety standards
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role
