Location: (Hybrid) Montreal (Preferred), New York or San Francisco Salary: up to $170,000 (CAD/USD, depend on location) + Founding Equity (up to 10%) Type: Full-Time Auxo is hiring a Founding CTO for an AI-native health startup building the future of nervous system recovery. You’ll become the company’s technical leader, partnering directly with the Founder to build an AI-powered consumer health platform from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to own architecture, product development, AI systems, and engineering culture while helping define the long-term technical vision of the company. This is not a traditional CTO role. We’re looking for an exceptional builder with founder mentality who wants to write code, ship products & make technical decisions. What You’ll Do Build and launch a consumer AI mobile application from 0→1 Own the complete technical architecture across mobile, backend, infrastructure, and AI Develop React Native applications and own the full mobile lifecycle Design backend services using Node.js or Python Build AI-powered workflows using Claude and frontier LLMs Integrate wearable devices including Apple Watch, HealthKit, Oura, and similar platforms Design agentic AI workflows, tool calling, structured outputs, and evaluation pipelines Establish engineering standards and architecture decisions Partner directly with the Founder on product strategy and execution Who You Are 7+ years building production software Strong React Native experience shipping consumer mobile applications Full-stack engineering experience across frontend, backend, and infrastructure Production experience building AI-powered applications using Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, or similar frontier models Experience shipping products from 0→1 Startup or high-growth company experience Strong architecture and technical decision-making experience Founder mentality with high ownership Comfortable operating with ambiguity and moving quickly Passionate about AI and excited to build something meaningful #J-18808-Ljbffr
