As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team. The Role As CFO, you will provide strategic and operational financial leadership across Wildstone and its broader group of companies, including financial and strategic support for all subsidiary and partner operations as well as direct support to the ownership group. Wildstone Construction, an infrastructure focused general contractor, is the primary operating business within a diversified portfolio that also includes: BC Tree Fruits (fruit packing, sales, and holdings) Ready Mix Plant Operations Civil Construction Operations Mechanical Construction Operations Electrical Construction Operations Property Development and Leasing Diversified Investment Interests Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with ownership and the executive team, you will oversee all aspects of Wildstone's financial operations while helping guide the company's long-term strategy. You will be responsible for ensuring the organization's financial health, supporting business growth, strengthening internal processes, and providing meaningful financial insights that help drive decision-making across the company. What You'll Be Doing Lead Wildstone's financial strategy and overall financial operations across a multi-entity group, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, tax planning, and financial analysis. Provide strategic financial and investment support to subsidiary companies, operating divisions, and ownership group initiatives, ensuring alignment across a diversified portfolio. Partner with operational leaders to monitor project performance, profitability, cash flow, working capital, and financial risk while providing insights that support informed business decisions. Oversee capital allocation, financing strategy, and corporate structuring across the group of companies. Manage key external relationships, including banking, financing, bonding, insurance, auditors, and regulatory stakeholders, while ensuring compliance and strong internal controls. Drive continuous improvement across financial systems, processes, and reporting while leading, developing, and mentoring a high-performing finance team. What We're Looking For CPA designation required. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including executive-level responsibility within complex multi-entity organizations. Experience in construction, infrastructure, industrial services, agriculture, manufacturing, real estate, or other project-based and asset-intensive industries, with a strong understanding of job costing, project accounting, forecasting, cash flow management, margin analysis, and working capital. Proven ability to develop and execute financial strategies, manage banking and bonding relationships, and support organizational growth, acquisitions, integrations, or other strategic initiatives. Demonstrated success building scalable financial systems, strengthening internal controls, and leading high-performing finance teams across multiple business units.
