6-month contract position
available for a
Change Management Analyst
fulfilling the role of an Administrator and data entry clerk at our Burnaby location within the Configuration Management team. The Configuration Management team works within the Technology & Product Development department and directly supports product development activities.
The Change Management Analyst will undertake responsibilities of data entry, processing, supporting Engineering Change requests, Engineering Change Orders, Deviations, as well as handling administrative tasks within the Oracle Agile 9.3.6 PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system. Additionally, they will assist the Configuration Management team in achieving both program and non-program objectives.
Responsibilities:
Perform data entry and administrative tasks in Oracle Agile 9.3.6
Review submitted Engineering Change Requests (
ECRs
) and, Deviations for accuracy, completeness prior to processing for approval
Support processing of Engineering Change Orders (
ECOs
) and perform tasks specified in Ballard's Change Management Process
Support updates to Engineering Bill of Materials (
eBOMs
)
Seek out innovative solutions to reduce the change cycle time
Receive direction from Senior Change Management Analysts in the execution of work
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Diploma or certificate in document management, product configuration management, or equivalent
Experience with the use of an Engineering Change Control Process applied to aspects of product development, quality, or production in an automotive or manufacturing environment
Experience with entering data into and managing workflows in a Product Lifecycle Management (
PLM
) or Enterprise Resource Planning (
ERP
) software system
Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize, manage time well, multitask, and troubleshoot
Ability to work and learn in a fast-paced environment with minimal direct supervision
Works well with all levels of the organization and is customer-service oriented
Good oral and written communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office product suite
Strong knowledge of principles of document management
Desirable:
Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP or Oracle Agile 9.3 PLM system experience
The typical hiring range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000. Ballard considers many factors in determining total compensation, including the successful Candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, experience, position location, and internal equity.
