Being a carpenter at CSSMB means shaping schools that live, move, and evolve at the pace of the students. Framing, finishing, installation, repair, or furniture manufacturing are part of a concrete role where your creativity and resourcefulness allow you to adapt spaces to the needs of the school environment. Responsibilities
Perform general framing and finishing work;
Assemble and disassemble formwork for concrete;
Install and repair doors, door frames, windows, acoustic tiles on ceilings and floors;
Install and/or move metal or wood curtain walls;
Manufacture and repair furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other wooden works not related to cabinetry;
Perform any other related tasks.
Requirements
Hold a diploma of vocational studies in carpentry or any other specialty appropriate to the job class or hold a diploma or certificate of studies whose equivalence is recognized by the competent authority, and have three (3) years of relevant experience.
Or
Possess a valid construction journeyman card
Valid driver's license.
