Job DescriptionJob Description Job Title: Carpenter Job Description We are seeking a skilled carpenter to assist with construction projects. Your role will involve a variety of tasks including general site clean-up, building temporary walls, site maintenance, drywall clean-up, repair work, using power tools, general installations, framing, wall building, and hanging doors. Responsibilities Perform general site clean-up and maintenance. Build temporary walls and handle framing tasks. Carry out drywall clean-up and repair work. Utilize hand and power tools effectively, including skill saws. Conduct general installations and wall building. Hang doors and ensure proper fittings. Essential Skills 5+ years of construction carpentry experience. Proficiency in using hand and power tools. Ability to lift over 30 pounds. Experience with framing and drywall. Additional Skills & Qualifications WHMIS certification is an asset. Experience with Working at Heights or Fall Arrest is beneficial. Hospital construction experience is a significant advantage. Work is conducted across the Greater Toronto Area including Newmarket, Richmond Hill, Toronto, and Cobourg. This position does not involve residential work. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of MARKHAM, ON. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
