Louis W. Bray Construction is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to deliver practical, peoplefirst improvements to business processes and business applications, from small fixes to larger initiatives.
This role focuses on how the business works, not infrastructure. The Analyst will redesign workflows, improve and configure business applications, implement automation and integrations across business tools, enable user adoption, and support continuous improvement so changes stick.
This is a handson execution role spanning the full lifecycle of transformation work: discover design configure/build automate/integrate enable measure improve.
Solutions are expected to be lightweight, maintainable, and aligned to platform capabilities, with complex development and integrations delivered in partnership with IT and external specialists.
Employees may be based out of either our West End or East End office.

Key Responsibilities
Business Process & Workflow Improvement
Partner with field and office teams to understand current workflows and pain points
Document asis and tobe processes appropriate to the size of the change
Translate operational needs into clear requirements and success measures
Business Applications Enablement
Configure and improve businessprocess solutions using approved business applications (e.g., ERP systems, construction operations platforms, collaboration tools, workflow and automation platforms)
Design lightweight, maintainable solutions aligned to how teams actually work and the capabilities of the platform
Maintain solution documentation (process logic, data definitions, ownership, support approach)
Automation & Integration
Build and maintain workflow automations and integrations within business applications (approvals, notifications, scheduling triggers, record creation and updates)
Design and implement lightweight integrations using approved tools and platforms, ensuring solutions are maintainable and well understood
Manage a backlog of automation and integration opportunities tied to business value
Identify when requirements exceed platform capabilities and engage IT or external partners early for complex integrations or custom development
Data & Reporting Enablement
Improve structured data capture within workflows to enable reporting and insight
Deliver practical reporting outputs (views, standardized reports, dashboards where available)
Support KPI definition tied to real operational decisions
Adoption, Training & Continuous Improvement
Create quick reference guides, training materials, and standard work instructions
Support pilots and phased rollouts; gather feedback and iterate improvements
Monitor adoption and outcomes; refine solutions postgolive
Role Boundaries
This role does not provide IT helpdesk or infrastructure support
Endpoint issues, networks, servers, devices, and general IT troubleshooting are handled by IT support (internal helpdesk and/or MSP)
This role focuses on configuration, workflow automation, and lightweight integrations within business applications.
Complex integrations, APIs, and custom software development are delivered in partnership with IT and external specialists.
This role is accountable for business applications, business processes, and information flow across the organization
Qualifications
Required
5+ years experience in digital transformation delivery, business applications, process improvement, automation, or a similar handson role
Proven ability to translate business needs into practical, usable solutions and drive adoption
Strong documentation, facilitation, and stakeholder communication skills
Knowledge of Vista Viewpoint ERP is a great advantage
Strongly Preferred
ERP experience strongly preferred (configuration, workflow alignment, integration touchpoints for automation/digitization, reporting enablement)
Experience with Viewpoint Vista ERP is considered a strong asset
Experience in construction, projectbased, or field/office hybrid environments
