THE COMPANY & CULTURE
Our client was founded in 1967 and is a privately owned company with 225 employees across the group and 50 in the Toronto Business Unit. Based in Mississauga, Ontario, they design and manufacture customized industrial and protective packaging — foams, corrugated, and combined material solutions. Their customers are general manufacturing companies in the Greater Toronto Area spanning automotive, food production and distribution, hi-tech / electronics, and furniture manufacturing. Customers buy on design and service, not catalog SKUs. Our client competes on product quality, the ability to accommodate customer-specific requirements, and integrated design and manufacturing under one roof.
The culture is described as human, team-oriented, and respectful — fast-paced, with exceptional retention. Current salespeople average more than 10 years of tenure. This is a growth hire: the Toronto sales team of three is stable and tenured, and the business unit is growing 5 to 30% year over year.
