THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL Base Salary: CAD $74,269.00 - 92,837.00 We are hiring a Business Development Manager to join our specialty pharmacy sales team. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales and Business Development. As a member of our team, you will lead and implement strategic initiatives to drive sales growth and enhance the market presence of NKS Health. This role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with physicians, identifying new business opportunities, and overseeing the sales and marketing. You will play a vital role in driving growth, fostering partnerships, and help us achieve our mission of Better Health for All. What You will Do: •Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas. Identify new business opportunities and market trends within the specialty pharmacy market. •Build Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and their staff in rheumatology, gastroenterology, dermatology and neurology to maximize sales outcomes. •Market Penetration: Increase market share by promoting the NKS offering to new and existing clients. Develop new and existing infusion centers within your territory. •Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with all relevant internal departments to develop and maintain the best offering needed to secure current and future business. You will work to follow the patient journey to ensure maximum patient conversions. •Product Knowledge: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the offerings of NKS and GreenShield, industry trends, and competitors. •Conduct Presentations: After successfully understanding the needs of the health care professionals and their patients, you will present the NKS offering tailored to meet and exceed their expectations with NKS as part of their patient circle of care. •Gather Market Intelligence: Collect and report on market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities. •Compliance Adherence: Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and company policies in sales practices. •Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on NKS/GreenShield offering and sales techniques. • Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty. Develop best patient care processes with physicians to streamline their prescribing habits and effectively communicate with our internal team •Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and outcomes. •NKS/GreenShield Ambassador: Represent NKS Health at industry events, conferences, and meetings and be a champion for our brand and continued success. WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR •Post secondary degree or diploma in Business, Commerce or a related discipline. •Minimum of five years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or specialty pharmacy space. •A results-oriented and highly credible individual that is a motivated professional with experience in business development, sales, or healthcare partnerships. •An initiative-taking self-starter with a record of accomplishment as a successful sales professional including developing and executing well-structured and organized sales strategies and solutions to enable our growth. •Superb people skills including the ability to build positive and productive relationships with medical professionals. •Advanced planning, organizing and negotiating skills; can manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and respond to changing priorities. •An understanding of the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is a strong asset. •A collaborative team player with the ability to work independently. •Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills; confident, credible and personable. •Innovative thinker and problem solver; brings a big-picture perspective – the ability to see how all the pieces fit together; strong business acumen and judgment. •Proven analytical and critical thinking skills. •Results focused, highly motivated, and exhibits determination and initiative to surpass objectives. •Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. •Valid drivers license required. •Ability to travel within Canada.
