6-month contract Business Analyst role with a global enterprise organization. 6-month contract Business Analyst role. Mobile focused projects that impact all retail employees. In-office work environment in downtown Vancouver, 4 days a week in office. What & Why: Our client is investing majorly into technology and looking to add a contract mobile business analyst to their growing team. This is a technical BA role where you will own requirements definition end-to-end, translating designs into developer-ready tickets and working directly alongside mobile and backend engineers, product, and design to keep delivery moving with clarity and precision. You will lead discovery, run sprint refinement sessions, and maintain backlog health across active workstreams in a fast-paced agile environment. This is a great fit for a seasoned BA who is comfortable engaging with modern application architectures, thrives in a collaborative team setting, and brings both the technical depth and the people skills to bridge business needs and engineering execution effectively. They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have an in-office work environment with 4 days a week in office You: You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role: 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a technology or product delivery environment, with a solid understanding of modern application architectures including mobile apps, backend APIs, and third-party integrations. Proven ability to lead discovery and requirements gathering end-to-end, writing user stories and acceptance criteria that engineering can execute with clarity and confidence. Demonstrated ownership of backlog prioritization and ticket hygiene in an active agile team, with strong proficiency in Jira for backlog management and Confluence for documentation. Strong facilitation and communication skills with experience running sprint refinement sessions, discovery workshops, and coordinating across product, design, and engineering in a distributed team environment. Compensation: This role pays between $70-85 per hour.
