Job DescriptionJob Description
Mandate Overview:
The client is looking for two senior business analysts for the Derivatives Onboarding pillar of a transformation program that also covers client master data and client lifecycle and compliance management. The target journey runs from counterparty qualification through activation on trading platforms and is currently fragmented across multiple systems and manual interventions. The value of the profile lies in combining three areas of expertise rarely found together: business knowledge of derivatives and their contractual and regulatory framework, end-to-end analysis of a client journey with six functions (Front, Middle and Back Office, Credit, Compliance, Legal), and rigorous requirements engineering in an Agile context. The role also requires alignment with analysts on the other two pillars and ease with executive stakeholders. Advanced English is required in addition to French.
Candidate sought:
a senior business analyst who has delivered at least one project on onboarding or client lifecycle for derivatives clients (rates, FX or equity) in Capital Markets, with ISDA, credit support annexes and reporting requirements on record. They produce requirements registers, use cases and traceability matrices themselves, and facilitate cross-functional workshops through to decision.
Requirements
Required:
Experience on derivatives topics (rates, FX or equity), including client onboarding and account opening or client lifecycle
Knowledge of derivatives, related contractual documentation and governing regulations
Documenting an end-to-end client lifecycle with Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Credit, Compliance and Legal
Writing requirements, use cases and traceability matrices, process modelling
Understanding of IT and Agile, proficiency with Jira and Confluence
Command of French, spoken and written
Advanced English
Preferred:
Communicating with executive stakeholders and steering discussions toward decisions
Managing ambiguity and dependencies across multiple program pillars
Asset:
Capital Markets platforms (Murex, ION/Fidessa, Bloomberg or similar)
Transformation of a client onboarding journey in a financial institution, including journey orchestration and document automation
KYC/KYB requirements for institutional and corporate clients
Banking or highly regulated environment
Business analysis certification (CBAP, PMI-PBA)
Profiles to Exclude:
Banking business analyst whose projects cover retail clients (accounts, loans, cards), with no Capital Markets project.
Capital Markets profile with no demonstrated project on interest rate, FX or equity derivatives.
KYC or compliance operations analyst with no business analyst role in project delivery.
Configuration or support profile on a trading platform (e.g. Murex) with no end-to-end client journey analysis.
PO or Scrum Master profile with no requirements register, use cases or traceability matrix on the resume.
