Building Operator - Office Complex at Gottardo Group of Companies — NeverHard

We are seeking an experienced Building Operator to join our property management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and overall performance of an office complex. Key Responsibilities: Perform daily inspections of building systems and common areas. Operate, monitor, and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life safety, and mechanical systems. Respond promptly to tenant service requests and building emergencies. Complete preventative maintenance programs and routine repairs. Coordinate and oversee work performed by contractors and service providers. Monitor Building Automation Systems (BAS) and troubleshoot operational issues. Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inspection reports, and work orders. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, building codes, and company policies. Assist with seasonal maintenance, including snow removal coordination and landscaping oversight. Support capital projects, renovations, and equipment replacements as required. Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience operating commercial office buildings. Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and life safety systems. Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) is considered an asset. Strong troubleshooting and preventative maintenance skills. Excellent customer service and communication abilities. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment. Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation. Building Environmental Systems (BES) certification or equivalent is an asset. 4th or 5th Class Power Engineer certification is considered an asset where applicable.
