Working knowledge of Tridium Niagara (N4) framework and Niagara‑compatible platforms such as Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider, JCI, Distech, or equivalent
Basic understanding of open‑protocol BAS architectures using BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, and IP‑based networks
Ability to support controls design deliverables, including sequences of operation, points lists, drawings, submittals, and system integration documentation
Hands-on experience assisting with commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of BAS deployments
Ability to work as part of a project team and take technical direction from senior engineers, programmers, and project leads
Awareness of cybersecurity best practices for OT and BAS environments
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document technical work and communicate with project stakeholders

Experience supporting federal, DoD, mission‑critical, commercial, or institutional facilities
Exposure to energy management, metering, fault detection/diagnostics (FDD), analytics platforms, or related integrations
Interest in smart building, IoT, and enterprise integration initiatives
Experience supporting portions of the project lifecycle from design through operations and sustainment
Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and guidelines such as ASHRAE or UFC
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field
Equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered
Preferred Education
Additional technical coursework or graduate study in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
Professional certifications related to BAS, controls, or energy systems
