Job Description
Our Cooks show inspired quality in all of their work. Their passion for food and cooking is infectious and they have a desire to serve the best every time. They show initiative, team work, walk with a "snap in their step" and with a sense of mission. Cleanliness is maintained throughout service and they gladly honor guest special requests.
The Day to Day:
Execute delegated preparation and service tasks as directed by the Sous Chefs and Chef
Prepare and cook breakfast dishes with consistency, precision, and attention to detail
Ensure all plates meet O&B quality standards, presentation, and timing standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workstation at all times
Thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen environment during peak breakfast service
Uphold proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices
Demonstrate a commitment to cooking with high-quality ingredients
Contribute creative ideas to features and menu improvements
Continuously develop culinary skills and expand product knowledge
Support a collaborative team environment built on professionalism and respect
Share an absolute dedication to delivering an exceptional guest experience
Other duties as required
Qualifications
Previous experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in breakfast or brunch service
Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques, knife skills, and food safety standards
Ability to work efficiently and maintain composure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
Ability to follow recipes and direction while maintaining quality and consistency
Strong communication skills and a collaborative team mindset
Reliable, punctual, and highly organized
Must be available to work early morning shifts on weekdays and weekends
Flexible availability, including holidays as required
This position is full time and requires weekends availability
Legally eligible to work in Canada
