Job DescriptionJob Description Aerotek is hiring a CNC Boring Mill Machinist for our client located in Delta. Must Have Red Seal CNC Machinist cert 1+ years of Horizonal Boring Mill experience Job Description: - set up and operate FERMAT floor boring mill TNC 640 using Heidenhain (German) controls to machine components according to engineering drawings and specifications - read and interpret blueprints, work orders and technical drawings - select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures and work-holding devices - perform machine setups, offsets, tool changes and program adjustments as required - measure and inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges and dial indicators - ensure all parts meet dimensional and quality requirements - maintain accurate production and inspection records - perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping tasks - identify opportunities to improve machining processes, tooling and cycle times - follow all company safety policies and procedures - work collaboratively with supervisors, programmers, engineers and other machinists to meet production schedules Available shifts Day Shift (1st) Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm Afternoon shift (2nd) Monday to Thursday 3:30pm to 1:30am Benefits Competitive wages based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
