Job DescriptionJob Description Boom Truck Drive Delivery Truck Driver (DZ – Boom Operator) Job Type: Full-Time About the Role Dass Metal Products is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Truck Driver (DZ – Boom Operator) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering materials to construction job sites while operating a boom truck safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, customer service, and compliance with transportation regulations. Responsibilities: Complete daily circle checks and vehicle inspection reports. Maintain company vehicles, including general maintenance, greasing of boom/Moffat equipment, and keeping cabs clean. Verify loads and delivery paperwork, ensuring proper loading, tarping, and securing of materials. Complete all required daily MTO documentation. Perform safe and timely deliveries and material pickups. Participate in loading and unloading materials using a boom truck or through manual handling as required. Direct and coordinate work activities with any assigned helper on-site. Provide professional and courteous service to customers, contractors, and suppliers. Report damaged or missing materials, equipment, or safety concerns. Follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures. Comply with all transportation regulations and traffic laws. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid Class D Driver’s Licence with Z (Air Brake) Endorsement. Valid Boom/Crane Operator Certificate (0–8 Ton). Clean Driver’s Abstract and good CVOR record. Minimum 2 years of boom/crane operating experience, preferably within the construction industry. Strong understanding of safe loading, unloading, and transportation practices. Dependable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with co-workers, customers, vendors, and subcontractors. Required experience: Boom/Crane Operation: Minimum 2 years.
