BIM Designer Key Responsibilities: + Interpret and analyze KTA (Issued for Construction - IFC) drawings to support electrical scope development and coordination + Perform detailed electrical quantity takeoffs aligned with Samsung's BoQ standards and processes + Collaborate with preconstruction, estimating, and project teams to validate scope, identify gaps, and ensure accuracy in bid submissions + Develop and manage BIM models for electrical systems using Revit, ensuring alignment with project specifications and client requirements + Utilize Navisworks for clash detection and coordination with other trades + Review and annotate drawings and documents using Bluebeam for markups, revisions, and team collaboration + Support CAD drafting efforts as needed to supplement design or field requirements + Participate in coordination meetings with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to resolve design and constructability issues + Maintain organized digital documentation and workflows across multiple platforms Required Qualifications: + Proven experience with Samsung or similar semiconductor/advanced manufacturing projects (BoQ process strongly preferred) + Strong ability to read and interpret KTA / IFC drawings with minimal oversight Technical proficiency in: + Revit (advanced level preferred) + Navisworks (clash detection and coordination) + AutoCAD / CAD platforms + Bluebeam (document management and markups) Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Taylor, TX.
