Job DescriptionJob Description Billing Specialist Our client, a growing organization within the energy services sector, is seeking a Billing Operations Specialist to join their Calgary-based team on a contract opportunity. This is a high-volume, detail-driven role supporting complex field-ticket-based billing workflows. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of the billing cycle, from field ticket capture through to invoice submission and approval. Your success will be defined by your ability to: Monitor and manage billing workflows within OpenTicket & OpenInvoice Review field tickets for accuracy, coding, pricing, and supporting documentation Track tickets through approval, invoicing, and customer acceptance Resolve rejected, incomplete, or stalled billing items Submit and manage invoices through customer portals Maintain billing trackers, logs, and status reports Support month-end billing, reconciliations, and reporting Collaborate with operations, customers, and finance to resolve discrepancies Your strengths include: 3+ years of billing experience in energy or field services environments Hands-on experience with OpenInvoice (OpenTicket preferred) Experience resolving billing discrepancies and managing high-volume workflows Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivot tables) Strong attention to detail and ability to manage tight deadlines Effective communication across internal and external teams If you are interested in this role and meet the above criteria, please click the “Apply” button to send your resume directly to Lexie Robertson or Nadine Girard.
