Responsibilities: • Provide a consultative client experience to support clients in making informed decisions regarding their professional insurance needs. • Build and maintain client relationships by understanding their unique requirements and identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell insurance products. • Refer clients to internal teams including Personal Insurance, Commercial Enterprise, and Life and Benefits, when appropriate. • Manage a high volume of renewals by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, including insurance companies, account executives, assistant account managers, and marketing teams. • Collaborate with an Assistant Account Manager on policy administration tasks, including applications, renewals, endorsement changes, cancellations, re-marketing activities, and claims application initiation. • Maintain accurate client records and interactions within the Broker Management System and other company portals. • Support clients through multiple communication channels in a fast-paced environment. • Act as a liaison between clients and insurance companies regarding underwriting concerns and provide underwriting guidance. • Support financial operations by assisting with invoicing, payment collection, and account reconciliation activities. What you will need to succeed: • RIBO license required (Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario certification). • Bilingual in English and French to support clients, stakeholders, and business activities in both languages, including quarterly travel to Québec. • 5-7 years of experience in Account Management, Sales, Underwriting, or related roles within an insurance brokerage or insurance company. • Exposure to Underwriting, Commercial Insurance, including Professional Liability Insurance and Commercial General Liability Insurance, or Group Insurance is considered a strong asset. • Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple demands effectively. • Client-centric mindset with a collaborative and team-oriented approach. • Positive, articulate, engaging, empathetic, and approachable communication style.
