Department Operations Location Fredericton, NB Salary $26.29 an hour Open Date 07/28/2026 Bilingual Security Guard Position, Fredericton, NB Commissionaires NB&PEI Division is looking to hire bilingual, mature and responsible team members in Fredericton, NB to work in government buildings. Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 4pmRate of Pay: $26.29 per hour Benefits: Health, Vision, and Dental Benefits, Life Insurance and AD&D plans The Role: The Security Guard is responsible for enforcing established rules and regulations to ensure the protection of people, property, and information on the worksite. We are seeking candidates with Physical fitness to perform interior of the property, may also require standing or sitting for extended periods of time and the ability to respond to emergency situations Bilingual (French/English) Professional/strong communication and dispute resolution skills A positive, proactive, problem-solving approach to tasks Customer service experience with a clean, neat, uniform appearance Use of Force Training The successful candidate must be able to Maintain high levels of confidentiality with a positive attitude Demonstrate sound judgement in addressing conflict situations Respond and help in emergency situations Able to acquire and maintain Federal Level 2 Security Clearance Complete all online and in-person training requirements Designated Veteran Status is an asset but are not a requirement for the position.
