BigID Data Privacy Technical Architect at Querentia — NeverHard

Job Summary We are seeking a seasoned BigID Data Privacy Technical Architect with deep expertise in data privacy, governance, and enterprise architecture. The successful candidate will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable BigID solutions that enable enterprise-wide data discovery, classification, governance, and regulatory compliance. This role requires extensive hands-on experience with the BigID platform, cloud-based data architectures, and enterprise data governance frameworks. The ideal candidate will work closely with business, legal, compliance, security, and technology teams to deliver privacy solutions aligned with North American regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Key Responsibilities Solution Architecture Design and implement enterprise-scale BigID solutions for: Data Discovery Data Classification Privacy Compliance Data Governance PII Detection Architect scalable privacy solutions across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments. Develop privacy-centric data models supporting data lineage, consent management, and governance initiatives. BigID Platform Architecture Lead the architecture and deployment of BigID environments including: SaaS On-Premises Hybrid Containerized deployments Configure BigID connectors, discovery methods, and AI-powered scanning capabilities. Design scalable integration strategies for enterprise data sources and applications. Optimize platform performance, scalability, and operational efficiency. Enterprise Integration Integrate BigID with enterprise platforms including: Microsoft Azure Databricks Collibra Enterprise databases Cloud storage platforms Design secure integration architectures and data flow patterns. Support enterprise metadata management, cataloging, and governance initiatives. Data Governance & Privacy Design and maintain: Data Dictionaries Business Glossaries Data Catalogs Data Lineage Documentation Support enterprise data governance, impact analysis, and data quality initiatives. Ensure privacy solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and governance frameworks. Regulatory Compliance Collaborate with Privacy, Legal, Compliance, and Data Governance teams to ensure compliance with regulations including: PIPEDA Quebec Law 25 Ontario Bill 194 CCPA/CPRA Colorado Privacy Act (CPA) NERC CIP FERC Translate regulatory requirements into scalable technical architectures and platform configurations. Technical Leadership Lead architecture workshops and technical design sessions with business and technical stakeholders. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to implementation teams. Review solution designs and ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards. Drive best practices for privacy engineering, security, governance, and solution delivery. Required Qualifications Minimum 10 years of experience in Data Architecture, Privacy Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, or Enterprise IT. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience implementing and architecting BigID solutions. Strong expertise in BigID deployment models including: SaaS Hybrid On-Premises Containerized environments Extensive knowledge of: BigID connectors Discovery methods AI-powered scanning technologies Privacy automation capabilities Proven experience designing enterprise cloud data architectures. Strong understanding of enterprise privacy frameworks and regulatory compliance. Experience with: Data Governance Data Lineage Metadata Management Impact Analysis Data Quality Strong SQL and scripting skills with experience implementing complex business rules and data transformations. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to lead architecture initiatives and cross-functional technical teams.
