This Role at a Glance This is not a single-station job. Team members at Woodbine are expected to wear many hats throughout each shift—cashier, barista, food prep, expo, and guest support. If you enjoy variety, teamwork, and jumping in wherever needed, you’ll feel right at home. Position Overview As a Barista, Cashier, and Expediter, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a top-tier experience for every guest that walks through our doors. This role involves crafting specialty coffee drinks, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring orders are completed accurately and efficiently in our busy, high-energy environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver warm, welcoming service and build genuine guest relationships Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso, and specialty beverages Support food preparation, plating, and expo during peak hours Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace Follow food safety, quality, and cash-handling standards Take initiative, communicate clearly, and support your teammates Uphold Red Bicycle’s culture of hospitality, integrity, and community Qualifications: 1 year of hospitality, customer service or barista experience preferred Passion for coffee and food service, with a genuine interest in creating meaningful connections with customers Strong communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment Strong work ethic, resilience, and a willingness to learn Flexibility to work afternoons, weekends, and holidays, as needed Bilingual candidates fluent in both English and Spanish preferred What We Offer: A positive, supportive and flexible work environment Opportunities for growth and skill development (100% of managers started as crew) Competitive pay ranging from $15-$18/hr (inclusive of credit card tips, not including daily cash tips) Employee discounts on food and beverages Time-and-a-half holiday pay Semi-annual raises A chance to be a part of a passionate team that values excellent customer service About the Work We’re more than a traditional coffee shop.
