This role evaluates a candidate’s ability to act as a hands-on Solution Architect responsible for designing, guiding, and delivering enterprise-grade modernization of a mission-critical financial services platform. The ideal candidate must demonstrate both: Strong architecture leadership Practical hands-on engineering capability Core Competency Areas 1. Enterprise Architecture & Solution Design Ability to design end-to-end enterprise solutions Experience aligning legacy systems to target-state architecture Understanding of scalability, performance, security, and resilience 2. Microsoft Technology Stack Expertise Must demonstrate strong hands-on experience in: C# / .NET (Visual Studio 2017+) SQL Server (2014+) and T-SQL SSRS (Reporting Services) 3. Application & Integration Development REST and SOAP API design and integration MVC and Web Forms architecture JavaScript-based UI development Integration of enterprise systems and workflows 4. Data Architecture & Engineering Data modeling and enterprise data design Handling multi-source data environments Data consistency, transformation, and structure evolution 5. Performance & Production Engineering SQL performance tuning and optimization Debugging complex production issues Root cause analysis and resolution ownership 6. Testing Strategy & Quality Engineering Unit, integration, regression testing design Test automation exposure (Visual Studio preferred) Ability to define enterprise testing frameworks 7. Leadership & Stakeholder Management Translating business requirements into technical solutions Leading technical workshops with business and engineering teams Providing architectural direction and effort estimation 8. Modernization & Legacy Transformation Experience modernizing legacy enterprise systems Migration planning and execution Ensuring functional parity during transformation Required Technical Stack (Must-Have) Candidates must demonstrate hands-on proficiency in: C# / .NET Framework (Visual Studio 2017+) SQL Server 2014+ (T-SQL, performance tuning) SSRS (report development & integration) REST / SOAP APIs MVC / Web Forms JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, Select2, Moment.js (or similar UI libraries) ⭐ Nice-to-Have Skills Salesforce integration experience Cloud exposure (Azure preferred) API gateway or microservices modernization experience Candidates must demonstrate: Strong ownership mindset (end-to-end accountability) Ability to operate in fast-paced delivery environments Strong communication across technical and business stakeholders Ability to balance architecture thinking with hands-on execution High Priority (Must Demonstrate Clearly): Enterprise architecture experience (5+ years), total years of experience 10+ years.
