Job DescriptionJob Description Red Seal Automotive Technician / Journeyperson Mechanic Calgary, AB $45-$55/hour | Straight Hourly Pay | Monday-Friday Looking for a shop where you can focus on fixing vehicles instead of chasing flat rate hours? We're a growing, locally owned independent automotive repair shop in south Calgary looking to add a Red Seal Automotive Technician to our team. If you're a licensed mechanic who takes pride in quality work and wants to be part of a shop that values its people, we'd like to hear from you. Our shop has recently been renovated with new equipment, including a modern alignment system, and we maintain a clean, organized work environment where technicians have the tools they need to succeed. What You'll Do You'll work on a wide variety of domestic and import vehicles, performing everything from routine maintenance to diagnostics and mechanical repairs. Responsibilities include: Diagnosing mechanical and electrical concerns Brake, steering and suspension repairs Engine diagnostics and general mechanical repairs Oil changes and scheduled maintenance Wheel alignments Tire mounting, balancing and repairs Inspecting vehicles and recommending repairs Road testing vehicles when required Working closely with the rest of the team to deliver quality repairs What We Offer $45-$55/hour straight hourly pay (not flat rate) Higher wages may be considered for exceptional experience Monday-Friday schedule Shop hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM No evenings Health Spending Account - dental, health, vision, etc. Profit sharing program Modern, newly renovated facility New equipment and alignment machine Clean, organized shop Small team where your work is appreciated Long-term opportunity with a growing independent business Qualifications Red Seal Automotive Service Technician Journeyperson Automotive Technician Diagnostic and repair abilities Experience performing mechanical repairs independently Valid driver's license Reliable with a positive, team-oriented attitude If you're an experienced licensed technician looking for a better work environment, competitive hourly pay, and a shop that invests in both its people and equipment, we'd like to hear from you.
