The Wyant Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Journeyperson to join our Jubilee Ford dealership and help us provide outstanding service to our valued customers. Key Responsibilities Vehicle Diagnostics & Repair: Perform thorough diagnostic inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, and performance issues. Conduct repairs on components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. Routine Maintenance : Complete regular maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Technical Expertise: Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and repair vehicles. Stay up to date with the latest automotive technologies, including hybrid and electric systems. Customer Communication: Work closely with service advisors and customers to explain vehicle issues, repairs, and solutions in a clear and professional manner. Collaboration: Partner with other technicians and service advisors to ensure efficient workflow, timely repairs, and consistent quality. Quality Control: Ensure all work meets manufacturer and dealership standards. Perform post-repair inspections and road tests to verify performance. Mentorship: Support and guide apprentice technicians, sharing knowledge and fostering growth within the service department. Skills and Qualifications Certified Journeyperson: Valid Journeyperson Certificate in Automotive Service or equivalent certification. Experience: Previous dealership or automotive service experience as a licensed technician required. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of diagnostic systems, vehicle electronics, and mechanical repair. Attention to Detail: Ability to perform precise, high-quality work while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
