Duties:
Committed to being a model and witness to Christ-centered education values and beliefs.
Apply foundational knowledge about First Nations, Métis and Inuit for the benefit of all students, and support the Division's goals towards advancing Truth and Reconciliation.
Possess a Bachelor of Education and valid Alberta Teaching Certificate.
College Certificate in Catholic Education is considered an asset.
Collaborate with Admin, LSF and classroom team to ensure effective and efficient academic supports for students.
Desire to work in highly collaborative team-teaching model.
Demonstrate a strong literacy/numeracy background and proficiency in the areas of assessment for and of learning.
Experience and or training in Inquiry Based and Project Based Learning.
Demonstrate knowledge and skill in planning and applying differentiated instruction and ELL strategies that contribute to the building of student learning profiles and a flexible learning environment to support all students.
Comfortable working in a K-9 learning environment.
Willingness to coach and to take leadership in student extracurricular and club activities.
Experience and/or training with Google Apps for education
