Job Description
Oversight, management, & support of the Investor Operations teams daily operations and local/global initiatives, while providing quality client service with the guidance of MUFG’s core values.
Support and drive locally the build out of the Investor Trade Ops team in Halifax, covering deployment, training and migration of work in support of the eventual global model (follow the sun). The team will be extensively involved in implementing and working on strategic initiatives using cutting edge technology, lead initiatives using AI, and other industry leading solutions such as digital subscription forms.
Support senior leadership with achieving department initiatives, projects, budget adherence.
Support team in department deliverables while ensuring adherence to company and department policies and procedures relating to investor registration, dealing, reporting, query management and other Investor Trade ops related tasks.
Establish process for fund/client specific Investor Trade Operations procedures in furtherance of our objectives by taking ownership of the process and client centric approach.
Ensure the team supports both the process and technological initiatives through active participation in developing the process and other change requests as we develop the operating model.
Manage and support the individual performance of direct reports through regular one-to-one meetings, regular performance discussions, career coaching and development as requested, and annual performance reviews as per company standards. Assist direct reports with the performance management and development of their teams. Foster a professional environment of encouraging personal and professional development.
Collaborate and foster positive partnerships with cross functional teams within Client 360 and Nexus teams where required to ensure successful delivery of our service offering including participating in service reviews, incident management, risk mitigation and other initiatives.
Champion initiatives within your team, encouraging participation, constructive feedback and idea generation from the team members and remain connected and engaged with global functional team as well as local Management in Malaysia.
