We are looking for a reliable, organized and hands-on
Assistant Supervisor
to join our Calgary team. You will work closely with the Supervisor, sewing technicians and customers to help keep our daily operations running smoothly and efficiently.
What You'll Do
Support the Supervisor in coordinating daily workflow and shop operations
Enter and review work orders, assign work to sewing technicians, and help manage priorities and deadlines
Communicate with sewing technicians to resolve repair and production issues
Monitor workflow, productivity, quality and turnaround times
Inspect garments and completed repairs to ensure quality standards are met
Respond to customer enquiries by email, phone and in person
Prepare repair quotations and communicate repair options to customers
Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory and materials
Assist with garment cleaning and laundry when required
Help train and support team members and maintain a positive, respectful and efficient work environment
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Assist the Supervisor with other operational and administrative tasks as required
What We're Looking For
Good written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Clear, respectful and professional communication skills
Reliable, responsible and willing to learn
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Comfortable communicating with both customers and team members
Able to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
Basic computer skills and ability to learn work-order and business software
Able to lift and move items up to approximately 50 lbs
Previous supervisory, lead-hand, production, customer service or operations experience is an asset
Knowledge of sewing, garment construction, apparel repair or outdoor gear is a strong asset
What We Offer
$18–$23 per hour, based on experience, skills and qualifications

Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.; working hours may be reduced during the low season based on business needs.
