Dulux Paints, a division of The Pittsburgh Paints Company
, is immediately hiring for a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager. In this role, you will lead the store in the absence of the manager. This is a progressive career path opportunity with potential to grow into a store leadership role. Our retail store locations are the first point of contact for our customers. Reporting to the Store Manager, your role will include inventory management, daily cash deposits, and managing store operations.
Assistant Store Manager Main Responsibilities
Open and close the high-volume retail branch.
Advise and serve customers, including assessing their needs, proposing solutions, and dyeing and matching paint products.
Work in a retail environment, ensuring the store is clean and well stocked.
Lift, move, and store products according to safety guidelines.
Lead employees in the manager's absence.
Assistant Store Manager Qualifications
At least 1 year of customer service experience.
Ability to work flexible hours with varied schedules, including evenings and weekends.
Understanding of KPI's with the ability to lead.
Ability to clearly communicate verbally and written.
Capability to stoop, kneel, crouch, lift, and carry up to 80 pounds periodically and 50 pounds regularly.
Previous experience in a retail or commercial environment is preferred.
