Ridge Soils is actively hiring a motivated, hands-on Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our soil, mulch, and aggregate supply yard. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading a team, helping customers, and working in an active outdoor environment. Location: 340 Regional Road 20, Hannon Pay: $27–$30 per hour Vacancy: 1 position Responsibilities: Support the Manager with daily yard and retail-counter operations. Supervise employees and coordinate daily workloads. Provide excellent customer service and product recommendations. Monitor inventory, deliveries, and supplier coordination. Operate equipment and oversee the safe loading of products. Ensure health and safety procedures are followed. Handle cash, invoicing, and basic administrative duties. Step in as Acting Manager when required. Requirements: Previous experience with landscaping supplies, hardware, quarry operations, or bulk materials is preferred. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Comfortable working outdoors in a hands-on role. Confident communicating with customers and employees. Basic computer and point-of-sale skills.
