We are looking for an honest and dynamic person to fill the position of Group Sales Manager for the Nouvelle Hôtel located in Montreal.
Reporting to the General Manager, Assistant Director of Sales & Marketing is responsible for using appropriate marketing and sales strategies to achieve the company's sales and customer retention objectives.
Job Description
Prepare accurate sales reports and forecasts
Manage, develop, and retain an existing client portfolio (corporate, SMERF, associations, corporate groups, and tour & travel)
Dedicate significant time to prospecting and developing new business opportunities to increase revenue
Provide ongoing support to the sales team in terms of training and procedures
Build and maintain a strong professional network
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Maintain effective communication with various departments
Collaborate closely with operational teams (front desk, reservations, accounting) to optimize overall performance

Education
Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in hotel management, an asset
Years of Experience Required
Four (4) to six (6) years of relevant hotel sales experience
Languages
Bilingualism (French and English) is required in this position as we serve an international clientele.
