(TSXV: WRLG; OTCQB: WRLGF) is a publicly traded mineral exploration company focused on discovering new gold mines in the Red Lake Gold District of Northwest Ontario, Canada. Be a part of the initial team to grow and operate a regionally significant new underground mine development that is rapidly becoming the future of the iconic Red Lake gold mining district in Ontario, Canada.
We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as apprentices in key trades supporting our underground and surface operations. Reporting to the Trades Specific Maintenance Supervisor or designate, the successful candidate will work a 7/7 schedule.
Position Overview:
The Heavy Duty Equipment Apprentice supports the maintenance, inspection, diagnosis, and repair of mobile mining equipment under the guidance of qualified Journeyperson technicians. Working in a safe and team-oriented environment, the apprentice gains hands-on experience servicing haul trucks, loaders, excavators, dozers, graders, and auxiliary mining equipment while developing the technical skills required to complete apprenticeship training requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
Assist in preventative maintenance programs.
Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and powertrain systems.
Learn and apply safety procedures and protocols.
Maintain accurate records of work performed.
Participate in training and development programs.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Enrollment in or eligibility for a recognized apprenticeship program in Ontario.
Strong interest in the mining industry and mechanical/electrical trades.
Ability to work in a physically demanding and safety-conscious environment.
Willingness to work on a rotational schedule.
Valid class G drivers license.

Physical requirements:
Handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, hand-eye co-ordination, standing for extended
periods of time. Bending, crouching, and kneeling.
