Application Security Specialist / Integrator Employment Type: Permanent Start Date: As soon as possible (ASAP) Location: Montreal or Quebec City Work Mode: 100% remote Language Requirement Fluency in French (spoken and written) is required Mandate Context As part of the implementation of an Integrated Development and Execution Platform (IDEP) , two government ministries are seeking the services of an Application Security Specialist. The platform aims to enable the development, deployment, execution, and management of applications in Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) cloud environments. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with internal teams to implement Azure services Ensure knowledge transfer on best practices Contribute to improving the organization’s security posture ️ Areas of Expertise Application server management Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools Application containerization API and application protection Key Activities Define and implement security strategies (IAM, encryption, APIs, certificates) Write and maintain technical documentation Ensure secure integration of new Azure services Align practices with policies and regulations Recommend improvements to the security architecture Required Qualifications Certifications CISSP, CISA, CEH, SCM, or Azure Security Engineer Associate Experience 4+ years in IT 2+ years in security within the Government of Quebec 2+ years in a multi-platform Azure environment Recent Agile experience ➕ Nice to Have Experience in Quebec government environments Knowledge of OCI DevSecOps experience What We Offer At ESI, we believe employee success depends on a balance between professional development, flexibility, and well-being.
